The manager of a firm is accused of smuggling textiles and accessories, while a clearance specialist, a customs inspector and three legal entities will be tried as accomplices, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office. It happened in 2009. The clearance specialist included incorrect data from the documents presented by the firm director in the customs declaration and submitted it then to the customs inspector. The inspector allowed transporting the goods over Moldova’s customs border. The damage in the civil lawsuit totals over 1.7 million lei. The case was sent to the Botanica district court for examination.
