The legislature Friday dismissed the deputy head of the Administration Board of the National Financial Market Commission (CNPF) Victor Captari and Council member Mihail Cibotaru. Also, Artur Gherman was named as head of the CNPF Administration Board, while Iurie Filip and Nina Dosca as deputy heads, IPN reports.
In the same sitting, Parliament appointed four persons to executive posts in the Competition Council that was created after the reformation of the National Agency for Competition Protection. Viorica Carare was named as head, Emil Gutu and Mihail Cibotaru as deputy heads, while Ion Maxim became a member of the Competition Council.
The Communist MPs accused Emil Gutu of being investigated for corruption. Emil Gutu replied that the charges against him were dropped. He said that he is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, but will soon leave the party.
Today Parliament holds its last sitting of the spring-summer session. The MPs will go on the annual leave on July 15 and will return on August 17. Under the Law on the Status of MP and the Parliament’s Regulations, the lawmakers are entitled to annual paid leave of 36 workdays, with the week being considered as having six workdays. The leave is usually granted during the Christmas vacation and the summer vacation.
