Due to the growing number of fires and fire casualties, in the period of January 17-19, 2008, the state authority in charge with anti-fire measures will hold in each house instructions on how to prevent fires. Sources in the Firefighters and Rescuers Department told Info-Prim Neo that the trainings themed “Danger of Fire” will be organised in each house. The aim of these actions is to familiarise every citizen, from all over Moldova, with the fire prevention measures in the cold period of the year. This winter has seen a worrying increase in the number of fires across the country. 26 persons died in fires since the beginning of this year.
