A fire started in an office in the Government Building in central Chisinau on Tuesday. Five firefighting teams were dispatched to extinguish the fire. No person was hurt but the objects in the office were destroyed, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the call to the 112 Service was made at 1:43pm. Firefighters arrived on the scene within minutes. The flames engulfed a second floor office that was 24 square meters in area.

The fire was localized at 1:45pm and was fully put out at 1:58pm. No victims were reported. The cause and circumstances of the fire are yet to be found out.
