A woman was hospitalized last night with multiple burns after a fire broke out in her home, burning down two rooms and an annex building of 35 square meters. The incident happened last night, December 16, in household in Dumbrava village, Chisinau Municipality.
Diana Turcan, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergency Service, told IPN that the fire fighters were alerted at 2 AM and arrived to the scene in 30 minutes. Four fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire. What started it is still unknown.
In 2014, there have been 1815 fires in Moldova, killing 130 people.
