A number of patients of the Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health were evacuated on August 2 after the equipment for sterilizing medical instruments caught fire. Nobody was hurt, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, the fire started on the second floor of the hospital, in the surgery ward. Three firefighting vehicles travelled to the scene. The firemen localized the fire in less than 20 minutes. A number of persons were evacuated from the hospital.

The fire affected an area of 50 square meters. The cause of fire is to be found out.
