The tragedy happened in the house of a woman that lived together with her son and her partner, the spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Dorina Cruc has told Info-Prim Neo. After drinking alcoholic beverages, the woman’s partner aged 50 lay on the bed and smoked cigarette after cigarette. The woman blew out the cigarettes that fell on the bedlinen. But when she went to sleep, a lit cigarette set the bedlinen and then other objects on fire. The fire destroyed the house annex where the man was.
