The head of the public association “Moldova Mea” Fiodor Ghelici and two members of the organization’s Administrative Board called on all the members of the association to take part in the October 30 elections and vote for the leader of the Party of Socialists Igor Dodon.
In a news conference at IPN, Fiodor Ghelici said the people bear the responsibility of keeping the independence of the Republic of Moldova with the assistance of a politician who wants to strengthen the country. Otherwise, the Republic of Moldova risks disappearing as a state, while the Moldovans as a nation.
Fiodor Ghelici said he remained disappointed when, in 2012, Igor Dodon announced that he would support the current President, but this later rehabilitated himself, when he admitted that he made a mistake when he voted Timofti and declared that he wants to protect and keep Moldova integral.
The chairman of “Moldova Mea” noted that the members of the association will side with Igor Dodon and will promote the consolidation of the state, which, according to him, has never been so divided as during the 25 years of the declaration of the country’s independence.
Administrative Board member Alexandr Iudin said that following the more pronounced aging of the Moldovan population, brain exodus and poverty, the Socialist leader is the only politician able to change the state of affairs given also the experience he accumulated as minister of economy.
Another member Alexandr Kolotovkin called on the people not to take into account the Communists’ call to boycott the presidential elections and to go and vote for persons who deserve and are able to change the country’s future.
Fiodor Ghelici announced that he decided to join the Party of Socialists.
