Integrity inspectors during the first nine months of this year instituted almost 200 contravention proceedings and drew up about 150 reports on contravention, imposing fines totaling over 303,000 lei based on these, shows a report published by the National Integrity Authority, which is quoted by IPN.

In January-September 2020, the National Integrity Authority examined 550 notifications and petitions concerning integrity incidents. Also, the integrity inspectors examined 1,882 property and personal interest statements. The Integrity Inspectorate issued 232 ascertaining documents, 145 of which ascertained violations, a twice larger number than in the corresponding period of 2019.

During the first nine months of this year, the NIA issued 343 integrity certificates.
