The Central Election Commission has warned the election runners and the media outlets that political campaigning on the electoral silence day and the election day is banned. On these two days, it is not allowed to campaign or to cover electoral activities and events. Also, the candidates running in the elections are banned from taking part in radio and TV programs in the period, IPN reports.
Political campaigning on these days is fined 200 to 400 lei in the case of private individuals and 800 to 1,000 lei in the case of election runners.
Parliamentary elections are held in Moldova this Sunday, November 30.
