About 6,500 children from socially deprived families from Chisinau will receive by 700 lei in financial support for getting ready for the new school year 2021-2022, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, the financial support is offered based on lists that are compiled by the multidisciplinary intra-school commission for the protection of children in situations of risk and are approved by the teachers’ council.

The recipients can collect the money from the branches of the state-run company “Moldova’s Post Office” during August 2 - November 2, 2021, on the presentation of the identity card.
