Financial rewards for pro-Sandu vote. GPI and PAS: They are false!

The Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) warns that the emails that some citizens receive on behalf of the PAS, with information that the vote for Maia Sandu will be paid for and for the purpose they need to take a photo of the ballot paper, are false, IPN reports.

"Do not send photos of the ballot paper to anyone," the PAS urges in a post published on Facebook.

Another type of letters sent online say that the PAS holds the personal data of voters.

The party strongly advised the people to be vigilant and check the addresses from which they receive emails. Its official email addresses are: presa@maiasandu.pentru.md and info@unpaspentru.md.

For its part, the General Police Inspectorate (GPI) in a press release notes that, in parallel with the fake email messages in the name of the PAS, a number of citizens were phoned and notified by a robot of a reward of 1,500 lei for voting. The country from which the calls are made was determined and they are establishing the origin of the email addresses from which the messages are sent.

Both the GPI and the PAS urge the population to ignore the messages and calls of this kind as they are false and aim to denigrate the candidate's image.
