The executive approved regulations concerning the determination and payment of lump-sums in financial assistance for persons affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, IPN reports.
The lump-sum will be determined based on the average monthly salary for the previous year. The size will depend on the disability degree and the period during which the person took part in the Chernobyl cleanup.
The persons with severe, accentuated and average disabilities will receive by two average salaries, while the employees of risk subdivisions - a salary and a half.
The persons who took part in the cleanup of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986 -1987 will get by an average salary, while those involved in 1988-1990 - 50% of the monthly average official salary for the previous year.
A sum of 17 million lei was earmarked in the state budget for the purpose.
