The Zimbru Stadium this evening will host a new final of Moldova’s Football Cup. Current champion Zaria Balti will play Sheriff Tiraspol, which won this competition most of the times, IPN reports.
The final will be controlled by a team of Turkish referees led by Alper Ulusoy. He will be assisted by Serkan Olguncan and Ceyhun Sesiguzel.
“It will definitely be a football show for the whole Moldovan football. The Cup final is a holiday,” Sheriff striker Radu Gansari told a news conference.
“We went well throughout the championship, but missed the chance in the end. We will do our best to take revenge in the Cup,” said the captain of Zaria Alexandru Onica.
The final of Moldova’s Cup starts at 8pm. Last year Zaria beat Milsami in the final 1-0.
