The Association “Motivation” calls on persons who made films and videos about persons with disabilities and on national filmmakers to take part in the fourth Festival “Films without Barriers”. The national filmmakers will be able to promote their works and to sensitize the people to the problems faced by the disabled persons, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué of the association, the main goal of the festival is to integrate the persons with disabilities into society by sensitizing the public opinion. Priority will be given to movies that center on employment and admission to studies of persons with disabilities. In order to promote the rights and interests of the disabled, “Motivation” stages the Festival “Films without Barriers” every two years.

There are screened films produced in different countries with the involvement of persons with disabilities, which feature various aspects of their life. The films are awardees of the International Film Festival “Films without Barriers” that is held in Moscow. This year the festival will take place on November 29, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The deadline for the submission of applications is November 20. The movies will be screened at the Movie Theater “Gaudeamus” between 10am and 4pm. Entrance is free of charge.
