Filat meets with new Hungarian ambassador

Prime Minister Vlad Filat today met with the new Ambassador of Hungary to Moldova Matyas Szilagyi. The premier noted that the Moldo-Hungarian relations are continuously advancing and thanked the Hungarian government and people for the constant support showed to Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. As the Government's media service said in a press release, Vlad Filat appreciated Hungary's support for Moldova's European integration aspirations as well as the contribution of Matyas Szilagyi's predecessor, György Varga, to the advancement of bilateral relations. Matyas Szilagyi for his part stated that his appointment as Ambassador to Moldova is a great responsibility. The Hungarian diplomat reiterated his country's support for the consolidation of Moldova's statehood and integrity as well as for its European aspirations. The Ambassador also said that Hungary is willing to provide consultancy on the implementation of projects in the areas of energy security and of renewable energy, in agriculture and irrigation systems.
