Filat and Fule discuss Moldova's European integration
The progress achieved by Moldova on the path of European integration was discussed on Friday during a phone conversation between Prime Minister Vlad Filat and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Stefan Fule, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release from the Moldovan Government, the European official stated that keeping the same pace will help Moldova further approach its objective.
Vlad Filat stressed that the statement made earlier this week by the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, and namely that the negotiations between Moldova and the European Union on the Association Agreement could be completed in 2013, is a confirmation of the fact that Moldova's European integration efforts are duly appreciated.
The Premier added that Moldova will continue to implement the previously launched reforms, as this will bring our country closer to the European values.
Further, Vlad Filat thanked the European Commissioner for the EU's support in overcoming the unprecedented situation caused by this year's drought.
