Fights, tango and rock&jazz during Night of Museums

The Night of Museums organized by the National Museum of Art of Moldova and the National Museum of Archeology and History of Moldova this night will be full of distractions, creation and mystery. The activities will be held on the occasion of the European Museum Night, when 3,000 museums from 42 countries will stay open till late at night, Info-Prim Neo reports. An Art&Coffee exhibition of works made of coffee by Vasile Butnaru and Ana Pronina will be opened at the National Museum of Arts at 6pm. A tango masterclass with Alexandru Pavlov, Natalia Kashprova and Social Dance Club, theater performances and a Rock&Jazz concert by the band NDS and singer Geta Burlacu will follow next. Entrance is free between 6pm and 2am. A festival of military traditions will start at the National Museum of Archeology and History at 6pm. It will be followed by a performance of songs and dances, sports demonstrations, a musical-choreographic performance by Art Studio “Kwantis” and a concert involving Natalia Gordienco, Pasha Parfenie, Serj Kuzencoff, Ionel Istrate, Svetlana Dumbrava and Evdochim. Each 100th visitor will receive by a gift. The Night of Museums is a cultural event organized together by multiple museums and cultural institutions in a location during which the establishments remain open late into the night. Marketed together, the event seeks to introduce new individuals to the cultural institutions. The event is held as part of the International Museum Day that has been celebrated all over the world since 1977. Each year, a theme is decided on by the Advisory Committee of the International Council of Museums.
