Table grapes producers and exporters, researchers in the area, manufacturers of equipment for processing grapes and other industry stakeholders are expected to participate in the Fifth National Grape Festival, to take place in Cimislia on September 3. The event is organized by the Cimislia district authorities in partnership with the Association of Grapes Producers and Exporters.
The event will also bring together growers of vine seedlings, suppliers of fertilizers, as well as artisans and folk bands.
The Festival will feature an exhibition of grapes and tastings. The program also contains a national forum of table grapes growers and exporters.
The best grape growers will be awarded in competitions for the “Hugest Grape Cluster” and “The best presentation at the Festival”.
The Festival aims to promote cultivation and consumption of table varieties of grapes, and to foster economic relations, including with European Union partners.
