A number of 95 polling places will be established abroad for the November 30 parliamentary elections. A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet on October 20. The initial proposal put forward to the executive for approval provided that 105 polling places will be opened outside Moldova.
The polling places will be set up inside embassies and consulates and in other buildings, with the consent of the competent authorities of the host countries.
Most of the polling places will be established in Italy, Russia and Romania. Additional information about the organization of the parliamentary elections outside the country will be provided later by the Central Election Commission.
