Students who took Baccalaureate exams this year submitted over 16,000 challenges after the main examination session. This is by about 5,000 challenges fewer than last year. The largest number of challenges - 3,455 – referred to the grades in the Romanian language and literature, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education said almost 3,000 students challenged their grades in the geography exam, over 2,000 students – the grades in the exams in math, English, Romanian and universal history, almost 500 – in the chemistry exam, over 200 – in the biology exam, 79 – in the informatics exam and 63 – in the physics exam.
Almost 7,000 challenges were filed by students from the municipality of Chisinau. About 700 challenges were submitted to the Baccalaureate centers in Balti, over 600 – in Cahul, about 600 – in Ungheni, over 500 – in Orhei, and by about 400 – in Anenii Noi and Hancesti.
The final results, following the examination of challenges, will be posted at the Baccalaureate centers on July 6.
During this year’s main Baccalaureate session, the students wrote 83,734 test papers.
