Feodor Negru leaves Communists Party
Fiodor Negru, former deputy mayor of Chisinau and former municipal councilor on behalf of the Communists Party (PCRM), who had been a member of the district committee of the PCRM in Buiucani district during 10 years, defected the party together with another 50 members of the committee and joined the United Moldova Party, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a news conference on January 20, Fiodor Negru said he does not agree with the decisions made by the administration of the party and the personnel policy pursued by it. According to Negru, while working on the committee in Buiucani district he saw that the proposals submitted by other members of the party were ignored and that the leaders of the party impose their will.
“All the Communists are transformed into voting machines. The opinions of the Communists who travel to districts and villages and speak to the people are ignored. I do not see myself a member of the PCRM in the future. During ten years, I had been an active member of the committee, participated in election campaigns and bore responsibility for campaigning. They always run after figures in this party. But the information they make public is not true. There is no democracy inside the PCRM,” Fiodor Negru said.
