Femina Chisinau has won a new title of national women’s basketball champion. In the decisive match of this season’s final, Femina beat ASEM Chisinau 62-52, IPN reports.

With a general score of 3-2, the team trained by Leonid Salopa managed to defend the title won last year. The players will get by a bonus of 300 lei each for this success.

Margarita Skitsko, of Femina, was designated the best player of the national basketball championship.  

The sports club Femina was founded in 2011. Since then, it has won two national basketball championships and two Moldova’s Cups. Femina also won trophies in the handball, rugby and volleyball competitions.
