FC Costuleni is the sixth Moldovan team to have an anthem. It will be played for the first time this Wednesday, February 16, before the league match against Zimbru, Info-Prim Neo reports. FC Costuleni’s anthem will be sung by Eugen Cheptanaru, aka B-ZAR. “It’s a challenge for me, though I’m not really into football. I hope the song will lead the Costuleni team to new victories”, anthem’s author and singer said. “If you hear it once, you’ll want to listen to it again and again”, claims chairman Iurie Chirinciuc. The idea of an anthem belongs to the fan club, consisting exclusively of girls. “We chose hip-hop because that’s what youth is listening to”, said Dorina Bagrinovschi, fan club leader. Zimbru Chisinau was the first team to get an anthem in 2007. Dacia Chisinau, Rapid Ghidighici, Sf. Gheorghe Suruceni and Olimpia Balti soon followed example.
