Fast-track tax returns service shortens road to Fiscal Inspectorate
A company in Moldova uses 228 hours on average a year to fill out all the fiscal declarations and reports, according to a study. For this and other reasons, the State Main Tax Inspectorate and the state-run company FiscServInform launched a new service for taxpayers, the fast-track tax returns service, on December 16, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Attending the launch ceremony, Deputy Minister of Finance Victor Barbaneagra said the strong points of this service include the possibility of quickly submitting the fiscal documents, transparency of the operations and avoidance of errors when filling our and sending the documents. The new service is a successful alternative to the existing reporting method that could soon replace it, Barbaneagra said.
At the launch, Marcus Micheli, deputy head of the Embassy of the United States in Chisinau, congratulated the managers and the Government for the successful implementation of the project and approved of the cooperation between the Moldovan authorities, the fiscal service and USAID/BIZTAR in improving the framework regulating the entrepreneurial activity and the tax administration, including by finalizing the new administration project.
The fast-track tax returns service will enable to reduce the time for processing documents by about 70%. Among the advantages of the new services are: transparency, high quality of the services, rapidity of the processes, including of the VAT refunding process.
