The access to the farmland in Dubasari district located beyond the Tiraspol – Camenca road was restored on August 1, the Bureau for Reintegration Policies has said, being quoted by IPN.
By this date, there were issued 99 certificates of access for using and cultivating 5,241.6 ha of farmland of the total 6,494.9 ha. Another 19 certificates were issued for an area of 48 ha for these to be transferred to the beneficiaries. For the remaining land, the owners didn’t submit the required documents either because they are abroad or because they are legalizing inheritance documents for this land.
Under the mechanism of 2006 restored based on the conditions agreed in 2017-2018, the procedures will be continuous. The persons who will ask to be allowed to use the remaining land will benefit from certificates of access, while those who will become new owners or tenant farmers will legalize the required documents.
The Government of Moldova in 2014-2018 offered partial compensations to the value of 45 million lei for the losses sustained by famers, allocating 16 million lei in 2017-2018.
