Farmaco launches new drugs
The largest national drug producer SA Farmaco made available a number of new products, mainly injectable solutions made by a modern production line bought from Italy. It also launched a number of drugs that were earlier imported into Moldova, the company's vice director Vadim Caraus said at the MoldMEDIZIN&MoldDENT exhibit held at Moldexpo, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“We make 162 types of products from different pharmaceutical-therapeutic groups. We intend to widen the assortment and will give priority to the drugs whose price is partly covered by the National Heath Insurance House. We also plan to increase production of antibiotics and drugs in gelatinous capsules,” Vadim Caraus said.
According to him, SA Farmaco started to produce phytopreparations. “The raw material for making such preparations in our country is varied. We prepared ten galenic preparations that are now being registered with the Medication Agency. We hope we will be able to launch them soon,” Caraus said.
SA Farmaco is a state-run company that sells drugs on the home market and to Romania, Russia, Belarus and other countries. Its production on the domestic pharmaceutical market makes up about 10%.
The exhibition MoldMEDIZIN&MoldDENT will continue until September 10.
