Vadim Pisari - the young man who died after he was shot by a Russian peacekeeper on January 1 – will be buried today, January 4, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Mayor of Pirita Iurie Soltan, the funeral will start at twelve noon. The young man will be buried at the cemetery in his village. The funeral will be preceded by a commemoration meeting at the place where the man was shot. Vadim Pisari was wounded mortally from a gun by a Russian peacekeeper at the trilateral peacekeeping post No. 9 situated near Vadul lui Voda. He was driving a car and ignored the peacekeepers’ request to stop, displacing the concrete barrier and the traffic sign “Stop”. The Russian military man fired several shots in the air and then at the car. A bullet penetrated the young man’s back. He died at the Chisinau Emergency Hospital several hours after the incident.
