The Chisinau City Hall intends to provide free season tickets or pay money for trips to the local family doctors who have to deal with a very large number of calls every day, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said Monday that owing to the large number of persons suffering from pandemic influenza A (H1N1), the doctors have to visit patients at their places daily and pay money for transport out of heir own pockets. He added that the family doctors will be issued with free season tickets or will be paid money for trips. In this connection, the acting head of the Health Division Luminita Suveica said the family doctors work according to an extended program and that she will submit a proposal regarding the payment of compensations to them. The doctors in Chisinau record about 300 new cases of pandemic flu every day.
