The families of the persons who died in a block explosion on Moscovei Blvd in Chisinau will receive by 50,000 lei by way of compensation, Prime Minister Pavel Filip announced after visiting the scene and discussing with people who were affected by the blast, IPN reports.
Acting mayor general of Chisinau municipality Ruslan Codreanu ordered to allocate 10 million lei to help the dwellers whose apartments were destroyed by the explosion.
President Igor Dodon asked for information about the circumstances and consequences of the blast from all the operative services, saying he is ready to provide support, including financial one, to the affected families, especially those that remained without a home.
On a social networking site, Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu wrote that he is near those affected by the blast and thanked the people who became involved to lend a hand to the victims.
The blast that occurred in an apartment building at 11/5 Moscovei Blvd in Chisinau in the evening of October 6 claimed three lives, of a woman and her son aged four and of a man aged 77. A fireman and a woman who suffered serious injuries remain hospitalized.
