Several Falun Dafa followers from Moldova protested in front of the Justice Ministry on Friday, claiming the Ministry would not allegedly want to register the Falun Dafa non-governmental organization, Info-Prim Neo reports. The leader of Moldovan Falun Dafa, Tatiana Chiriac, stated at the protest that on September 29 the Justice Ministry tender its refusal to register the organization, for the fourth time, arguing they would promote fascist ideas. The Chisinau court earlier ruled that the emblem of the Falun Dafa school was identical with the fascist system, “what is not true”, says Tatiana Chiriac. She says that symbol is but a very old symbol of the school and has nothing in common with the fascism. The protesters says they did not appeal the writ because they were not aware of it. “We consider the Justice Ministry, by deciding not register Falun Dafa Association, places Moldova on the list of the countries supporting unimaginable reprisals, murders and torture. They cut organs without anesthesia as China does with the Falun Gong partisans. This is going to lead to rather serious consequences for the country in front of humankind and history,” the protesters say. In response, the Ministry's spokesman, Anatolie Simionov, specifies they did not prepare the documents right to be registered. According to the protesters, initially the Justice Ministry argued its rejection by certain faults in the statutory papers. The Ministry keeps declining their application since 2006. Although the authorities refuse to register Falun Dafa in Moldova, its members vow to carry on applying, “trying, through truth, kindness and tolerance to reach the officials' hearts.” Falun Dafa or Falun Gong is an ancient qigong (Chinese exercises) school, registered in China on May 13, 1992. The school was secret till that moment. According to its followers, the organization has deep roots in the traditional Chinese culture, grounding on three basic truths: truth, kindness and tolerance. It is practiced in 80 countries, including Moldova.
