Falesti voters to elect their mayor in runoff vote on November 27
The voters in Falesti town will go to the polls again on November 27. The runoff vote will cost over 77,000 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The election date and the expenditure estimate were agreed in the November 15 meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
No candidate polled more than 50% of the ballot in the first round of voting on November 13. Victor Zalevski, of the PCRM, and Pavel Ivanchuk, of the PLDM, will compete in the runoff.
In the same meeting, it was decided that CEC members Vasile Gafton and Stanislav Bondari will take part in the supervision of the State Duma elections in Russia that will be held on December 4.
