Fairytale characters on facades of two Chisinau kindergartens
The facades of two kindergartens in Chisinau were adorned within the Color of Childhood Project that is implemented by the Association for Cultural Development in partnership with the Chisinau City Hall. Fairytale characters were transferred on the two facades, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Designed to give the city more color, the project centered on the decoration of the facade of Kindergarten No. 46 situated in Centru district with neon tubes and painting of a letter train on the walls of Kindergarten No. 53 in Telecentru quarter, project coordinator Marin Turea told the press.
“We looked at things not only from a strictly practical perspective and the angle of functionality. We designed this project as an artistic one. We thought it would be interesting to slightly change the appearance of the city. We wanted to make the children joyful. We started with two projects. The first is the famous drawing of Lica Sainciuc and the second is the work of artist Pavel Braila,” said Marin Turea.
If money is identified, the Association for Cultural Development will paint fairytale characters on the facades of other kindergartens as well.
Vera Cearca, director of Kindergarten No. 46, said any project for children is welcome. “This project gladdens not only the children, but also the educators. It is new, interesting and nice. The kindergarten is like the second home for the child and we are glad that they selected us,” she stated.
The Association for Cultural Development was founded in 2010 with the aim of promoting the cultural, artistic, scientific and social values by printing magazines, creating websites and making movies and documentaries.
