Fairs for children and adults at Zorile
The school fairs held by the shoe factory Zorile in the square near the industrial unit attract a lot of visitors and yield good returns, the company’s economic director Maria Popescu has told Info-Prim Neo. The fairs of shoes for children and their parents made with modern equipment according to Italian technology will last for four weeks until September 13.
“There are exhibited over 1,500 pairs of shoes for all the seasons. At the factory’s warehouse we have all the sizes,” Maria Popescu said. “After the fair was opened on August 22, the sales have doubled.”
The wide variety of shoes and the discounts on summer shoes arouse interest and good mood. “I found out about the fair from a leaflet. Now I want to purchase a pair of autumn shoes. The quality of the shoes is good and the prices are reasonable,” said Elena, a buyer.
“I heard the music playing here and decided to come and see what’s happening. I visited the fair and liked the shoes on display. I think I will buy something later,” said Alexandru, a visitor.
The school fair Zorile is at its first edition. The next year, the fairs will be held twice a year – at Easter and at the start of the school year.
According to Maria Popescu, last year Zorile sold over 2 million pairs of shoes, but this year, owing to the crisis and the loss of the German trading partner, the production was reduced to 1 million pairs. The Zorile shoes are now exported mainly to Italy.
