This weekend, on November 9 and 10, residents and visitors of the capital are invited to visit fairs and markets held in all sectors. These events aim to support local producers and provide consumers with access to seasonal agricultural products. Additionally, the municipal authorities aim to promote local products and encourage responsible consumption.
In the Botanica sector, "Youth National Day" will be celebrated this weekend in "Valea Trandafirilor" Park, an event dedicated to young talents and educational activities.
In the Buiucani sector, on November 9, the "EcoLocal" fair will be organized near the "Kentford" building. This market will gather local producers of eco and artisanal food and non-food products. The event is organized by the Association of Eco and Artisanal Consumers and Producers to promote eco-friendly and sustainable products in our country.
"Alunelul" Park will host the "Camara Fest" fair, an event dedicated to local producers in collaboration with the "Eurocivis" NGO. Visitors will find a variety of traditional products, from food items to handicrafts.
Another fair, "Yard Sale," will be held on Saturday in the city center near the "Patria" cinema. Here, visitors can find both new and second-hand products.
On Carbunarilor Street 9 in the city center, a seasonal agricultural products fair is open. A similar fair will be held until November 23 on Mitropolit Varlaam Street, between Armeneasca and Tighina Streets. In the Ciocana sector, agricultural fairs will remain open until November 30, while in the Riscani sector, the agricultural fair will run until December 11.
The Chisinau City Hall encourages residents to visit local markets, which aim to strengthen relationships between local producers and consumers, thereby contributing to the development of the local economy, IPN reports.
