The Islamic Republic of Iran plans to stage a fair of Iranian products in Chisinau. Iranian Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi told a news conference at IPN that negotiations are held for mounting this fair in Chisinau in the near future.
The official said that all the products, technologies and goods of Iran will be exhibited at the fair so that the Moldovans convince themselves of their quality and see the prices. Discussions are held with the state authorities, including the presidential administration and the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Moldova, for this fair to be organized by a region of Iran.
Akbar Ghasemi Ali Abadi considers that the visits by Moldovans to Iran and vice versa can help improve the commercial relations between the two states. According to him, these relations can be better and steps should be thus taken to deal with the absence of information and cooperation. A visit by Moldovan businessmen is prepared to Iran so that they see how developed the country is and in what areas they can cooperate.
The Iranian official said that Iran exports to Moldova and Ukraine mainly oil and agricultural products, but they want to remove the barriers to the commercial relations between these states, which are facilitated by intermediaries.
