The National Health Insurance Company (CNAM) has extended the area covered by the Fair of Healthy Food “BioFest” that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. This year, the event begins in Edinet on October 5 and will then move to Chisinau and Cahul, IPN reports.

Head of the CNAM’s media service Silvia Munteanu said the event will be opened officially at 10am. The 17 km cycling race begins at 10:40am. The participants in the race will be able to take part in a raffle.

The fair of healthy food with products made in Edinet will take place during the day. Doctors will provide free medical advice at special tents. There will be distributed leaflets with pieces of advice how to maintain health. Sports competitions will be held between 10:50am and 4pm. The activities will be accompanied by performances by national singers and bands.

On October 25, “BioFest” will be staged in Chisinau, while on October 19 – in Cahul.
