Coca-Cola Moldova initiated a program of factory tours “Discover World of Coca-Cola!” on October 2. From this month, Coca-Cola Imbuteliere Chisinau will be open to students interested in the process of making non-alcoholic beverages and the daily work program of the factory, IPN reports.
In a news conference, Ana Afteni, human resources and public relations manager at Coca-Cola Imbuteliere Chisinau, told the journalists that there will be provided details about the process of making carbonated drinks and about their storing.
The communication with the students interested in these tours will be ensured through three partner NGOs - AIESEC Moldova, BEST, and Junior Achievement Moldova. The students can also register on the Facebook page of Coca-Cola Hellenic Moldova, in the division “Discover World of Coca-Cola!”.
“The visits to the factory form part of our social involvement strategy not only at the local level, but also at group one. They are organized in many countries where the Coca-Cola group is present and produce very good results. That’s why we want to offer the Moldovan young people an alternative for spending the free time or even an opportunity for informal education,” said Traian Nechifor, Coca-Cola Moldova country manager.
The tours will be made once a week, by four tours a day, for organized groups of at most 30 participants. Every tour will last for 120 minutes on average. The young people will be familiarized with the system of Coca-Cola and the bottling process and will know the employees of Coca-Cola Hellenic Moldova.
Coca-Cola Hellenic is the second largest bottling company of Coca-Cola, with a turnover of €7 billion in 2012. It is present in 28 countries and serves over 560 million people. Coca-Cola Hellenic provides a wide range of carbonated drinks, juices, water, tea and coffee.
