Extraordinary meeting of Constitutional Court closed to press

The extraordinary meeting of the Constitutional Court set for February 20 was held behind closed doors. Though the journalists were informed about the meeting, they did not have access to the meeting hall and to the statements and comments made afterward, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Court’s secretary general Rodica Secrieru announced the press that the extraordinary meeting was an internal one about which nobody can make statements. The last extraordinary meeting of the Constitutional Court was held at the end of last September, when judge Victor Puscas filed an application whereby he asked dismissing the then president of the Court Dumitru Pulbere, invoking the political statements made by the latter on a TV channel.
