The Government formally endorsed a bill making extracts from various state registers obtainable online.

Extracts obtained in digital format (e-Extracts) will have the same legal value as those issued by public institutions on paper. The legal proposal aims to facilitate remote interactions between the Government, the business community and the Moldovan citizens that benefit from public services.

The bill also introduces provisions enabling citizens to authorize agents via an electronic signature to apply for public services and pick up identity documents or copies of civil status documents.
