Pieces of jewelry, postcards, ceramic objects, vine and wooden crafts, leather bags and many other exquisite things will be presented at a handicraft exhibition hosted by the center Shopping MallDova. The expo will open on Saturday, June 20, and will run through June 28, the center said in a press release, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. The exhibition will feature handcrafts wrought by masters from the Moldovan Craftsmen Union, the Center of Young Naturalists, the Center of Children Craftsmanship Giocel, and independent craftsmen. Visitors to Shopping MallDova will have the opportunity to feast their eyes on, and buy bijoux made from various materials of different colors, handmade postcards, objects made from ceramic, vine, straws, and other vegetal materials. At the same time, the exhibition will feature a great variety of garments, theater puppets, leather bags and floral compositions. Additionally, master-class sessions will be held where shoppers will be able to learn how to make various nice things with their own hands. According to Diana Adam, marketing coordinator at Shopping MallDova, the handcrafts on display are genuine objects featuring elements and motifs inspired from our culture. “We intended to organize an exhibition where we'll try to transmit the sentimental richness of these objects to our customers”, explained Diana Adam. The exhibition is part of Shopping MallDova's social responsibility program, which also included a recent photography exhibition themed “I'm Looking for My Mom!” (“O caut pe mama!”). Earlier, in partnership with the Social Mission Diaconia, Shopping MallDova held a number of social campaigns, among which “Be Santa for an Orphan!” (“Fii Moş Crăciun pentru un copil orfan!”) and “A Martishor for a Bright Future!” (“Un mărţişor pentru viitor!”).
