An explosion ripped through a building site in Chisinau’s Telecentru district Thursday afternoon at 2:15 PM, scaring residents nearby. No casualties were reported. The only person to sustain minor injuries in the blast was a 22-year-old workman, who is thought to be the generator of the explosion. Apparently, he was burning construction refuse and threw something explosive in the fire. Experts are now investigating to establish the nature of the explosive and the circumstances of the blast.
