“The children are the future image of a nation and our supreme obligation is to contribute to building a prosperous future for them,” Minister of Home Affairs Pavel Voicu stated in a meeting with children of employees of the Ministry’s central staff held on June 1, on the occasion of the International Children’s Day. The minister noted that heroes who in time will move to the forefront to keep security and public order and even to save people’s lives can be educated only by own examples that are worth being followed, IPN reports.

According to the minister, it is important to realize that for the complete development of the personality of children, these should grow in a favorable family environment, in a happy atmosphere full of love and understanding and should be educated as real patriots of the nation. “Namely for the purpose, the employees of the Ministry of Home Affairs daily contribute to preventing and dealing with cases of violence so that all the children are protected and live in harmony,” noted Pavel Voicu.

On the occasion of the Open Doors Day for the children of employees of the central staff, the visitors could tour the Ministry’s building and meet with Minister Pavel Voicu, could visit the Ministry’s museum and see the special vehicles owned by the Ministry.
