A dental clinic based in Ciocana district of Chisinau was closed after the police established that it worked in the absence of the necessary authorizations. There were also found medicines with the use-by date expired. These were used to treat patients, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, within an investigation it was determined that the dental clinic was owned by a man aged 40 from Chisinau municipality, who is a dentist by profession. In 2011-2015, he made profit of about 620,000 lei. As a result of searches, there were discovered documents with signs of being falsified. These showed that more dentists had been involved in the illegal activity.
There were also found documents, drafts regarding the earned money and services provided that weren’t indicated in the company’s financial accounts. The culprits face a fine of 60,000 to 120,000 lei for illegal entrepreneurial activity.
