Expired dairy products found at company in Cupcini

The Main State Tax Inspectorate for Market Surveillance, Metrology and Consumer Protection discovered expired products at the dairy company Inlac SA based in Cupcini town. In a communiqué, the Inspectorate says 26 boxes of 25 kg each with fruit filling that was to be added to yogurt. It was also established that the measuring equipment was inappropriate, Info-Prim Neo reports. The inspectors prohibited the sale of the given products and the use of the measuring equipment. Reports were drawn up against the producers. Last month, the Inspectorate found five batches of dairy products to the value of almost 24,000 lei with inappropriate marking. The products were imported from Russia and sold on the home market by the Chisinau-based company Elixim-Con SRL. There were also discovered products to which there were added vegetal fat that was not indicated in the composition. The net mass was reduced, while the sugar was replaced with sweetener. The sale of the given products was banned. The inspectors warn the consumers not to buy products in unauthorized places.
