The parties of the pro-European coalition should make use of the Communists' willingness to cooperate and talk with them. Opinions in this regard were voiced during the “Fabrika” talk-show on Publika TV, IPN reports.

Expert Vitalie Catana thinks that the pro-European leaders should at least talk to the Communists in order to prevent them from making a coalition with Igor Dodon's Socialists. “On the background of a regional crisis, considering the urgent need for political stability in order to guarantee the security of the state, the need to elect the president in 2016, the coalition parties must accept PCRM's willingness to get closer. PSRM presents big risks for the security of the country and the pro-European parties must use any chance they get”, argued Catana.

Journalist Ion Terguta is of a similar opinion and said that collaboration between the pro-European coalition and the Communists is needed to elect the President. “PCRM has declared it's willing to participate in the election of the president in exchange for control over several state institutions. I think that coalition parties must consider this proposal because they don't have enough seats to elect the President by themselves”, explained Terguta.

The talk-show's permanent guest, media analyst Cristian Tabara, thinks that cooperation with PCRM will also please the left-wing voters. “It's obvious that the coalition parties will have to provide some explanations to their voters, but I think that the other segment of the population must also be represented in the government”, concluded Tabara.

Communist MP Oleg Reidman stated during a talk-show on Realitatea TV that PCRM is ready to collaborate with the pro-European parties only if the Communists are handed the Central Electoral Commission, the Court of Accounts, the Coordinating Council of the Audiovisual and other institutions. The final decision will be made at the PCRM Assembly next week.
