The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), the Democratic Party (PDM) and the Liberal Party (PL) will manage to ultimately form a parliamentary coalition and to install a Government, but the result won’t be better than now, said experts invited to the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.
Jurist Ion Dron, who is the chairman of the public association “Center of Initiatives and Public Authorities Monitoring”, is convinced that the new Government will be formed, but expressed his skepticism about its efficiency. “They will form the Government because they have no other way out. But when the Government is formed, we will return to the same situation. They will continue to steal, maybe not immediately. I think the new Government that will be formed by the three parties will bring nothing good to the people,” he stated.
The head the public association “Justice and Democracy” Pavel Midrigan considers the PLDM and PDM will manage to form the Government if they form a coalition with the PL. “They need a coalition with the Liberals to form the Government. The local elections practically didn’t change the situation. Those from the PDM and PLDM have a good presence at local level. However, the new Government will work only until next March, when the new head of state will have to be chosen,” he said.
The program’s permanent invitee, political analyst Igor Botan considers the new executive will be formed, but with delay. “The formation of the new Government will depend on the negotiations between the PLDM, PDM and PL so that it is not known when it is formed. However, in the created situation, I think they will leave their ambitions aside and will ultimately reach an agreement. I will support Mihai Ghimpu, including if he runs for the presidency, because he promised he will restore the stolen US1$billion,” he stated.
