Experts from both sides of Nistru will participate in common seminar
Specialists from both sides of the Nistru will have the chance to participate in a training seminar in the field of public policies after a contest organized by IDIS Viitorul and Common House within the project “Confidence building between the two banks of the Nistru. Professional training of experts in public policies”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a IDIS Viitorul press release, the goal of the project is to adopt initiatives that will cumulatively contribute to the professional training of experts in public policies, in partnership with local civic and political actors. The specific goals of the project refer to the development and promotion of a common platform for discussions between experts from different fileds from the both sides of the Nistru. The resulting papers and editorials will be used to raise the public awareness in Moldova regarding the implications of the government’s decisions or intentions, to educate the large public and political actors.
During the seminars, analyses of public policies from various fields will be developed. The planned topics include the education system, the fiscal-budgetary system, social insurances and political parties.
Experts aged 18-40 from both banks of the Nistru are eligible to participate. The seminars will be organized in August-November 2012. The duration of each seminar will be two days. The accommodation, food, transport and excursions will be assured by the project. For selection, participants will have to submit their CV with a photo and a registration form. Applications can be sent by email or delivered personally at the IDIS Viitorul headquarters.
Overall, 40 applicants will be selected, 20 from each side of the Nistru. The deadline for applications is August 15, 2012. Only the selected experts will be contacted after August 20, 2012.
