Experts from 28 countries will come together in Chisinau to discuss the adjustment to climate change. These will take part in a regional workshop centering on the planning of national activities aimed at adjusting to climate change. In the event, the experts will exchange experience and good practices with a view to working out a national plan for adaptation to climate change, IPN reports.

During June 28-30, the participants will focus on the experience of the countries that started to develop adaptation plans so as to understand the importance and necessity of this process given the climactic risks faced in planning the development of a state.

The workshop is organized by UNDP Moldova and the Austrian Development Agency with financing from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management of Austria, in concert with the Climate Change Office and the Ministry of Environment.
