Expenses from Fund protecting families with children up 50% in 2009
In 2009, the Fund protecting families with children will spend 139.27 million lei, up 49.6% than this year, Info-Prim Neo reports. The money will be used to pay the single allowance at birth and monthly allowances to raise the child to 3 years of age.
Thus, the single allowance at birth will rise 200 lei for insured people and will reach 1,400 lei for the first child, and 1,700 lei for the next children born. Expenses amounting to 16.63 million lei are envisaged in the Social Insurances Budget, as some 10,945 people will benefit from them.
At the same time, the single allowance at birth will be given to uninsured people.
The expenses for the monthly allowances to raise one's child are 122.63 million lei and will be distributed to some 27,878 beneficiaries.
The monthly allowance for raising one's child from 1.5, 3 years to 16 years of age will be 50 lei. It is to be distributed to 66,112 people and is estimated to reach up to 39.66 million lei. These expenditures are 15.04 million lei less than in 2008, what is explained through the decrease of the number of beneficiaries of this kind of allowances.
